1977 IIHF World Hockey Championship USA vs West Germany

Welcome back to our lookback of the 1977 IIHF World Hockey Championship held in Vienna, Austria. The Americans bounced back with a rout of the Romanians 7-2 to record a big two points. After two days the Czechs and Soviets had 4 points, Canada and the US had 2 points while West Germany, Romania and Finland had nothing.

Sweden knocked off Finland 5-1 to set up the big match between the US and the West Germans. As usual, here's the roster for Team USA real quick.
